Abuja school bullying victim not my daughter – Daniel Bwala
Legal practitioner and ex-spokesperson of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Daniel Bwala, has debunked the rumor that the Lead British student being bullied was not his daughter.
Bwala shared this statement via his personal X handle (formerly Twitter ), stating that the young girl in the video was not his daughter.
He wrote, “My attention has been drawn to a viral video circulating on all social media platforms alleging that my daughter was bullied or assaulted. For the records, the young girl in the video is not my daughter, I do not know her, nor do I have any of my children studying in that school.
“While the young girl in the video showed extreme decorum and restraint (and should be commended), if it were any of my children, the scenario would not go without a fight in the exercise of self defense.”
The legal practitioner however stated that he has reported the case to the law enforcement agency, emphasizing that acts of violence and bullying are not acceptable in society.
A video that went viral on X late evening yesterday showed a student of Lead British School attacking another fellow student.
The school has issued a statement this morning indicating that they are investigating the situation and a committee has been set up to conduct a thorough inquiry into the matter.
