Bullying: Lead British School shut down three days
The management of Lead British School has announced the closing of the school for three days following the bullying incident.
The head of the school, Abraham Ogunkanmbi, announced this during a meeting with the school’s parents and teachers.
A video shared via X (formerly Twitter) said the school would be closed down.
Ogunkanmbi said, “By the request of the minister of women’s affairs, and we are Nigerians, we respect rules and regulations, and we recognize the law.
Our school is under Federal Capital Territory, and we are registered, and based on that, Lead British School, Abuja, is now shut for three days.”
Earlier, the school issued a statement this morning indicating that they are investigating the situation, and a committee has been set up to conduct a thorough inquiry into the matter.
