Gov Oyetola felicitates Africa’s richest woman Alakija at 70
Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun State has hailed the Chancellor of the Osun State University, Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija, as she celebrates her 70th birthday anniversary.
Alakija is ranked by Forbes as the richest woman in Nigeria with an estimated net worth of $1 billion as of 2020.
Oyetola, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, described the business mogul as a worthy role model and an inspiration to the children and youths of Osun.
“Yours has been a life dedicated to God and humanity and the dividends of these deliberate decisions are glaring for the universe to see, appreciate and emulate.
“I, therefore, toast to a global amazon whose life is predicated on and defined by excellence and service to humanity. I celebrate a woman whose philosophy and ideals typify the Omoluabi ethos and complement the development agenda of our administration,” the statement read partly.
