Three victims rescued from Mushin multiple accidents
No fewer than three accident victims have been rescued by the Lagos State Emergency Management (LASEMA) on Saturday after they got involved in multiple road mishaps.
The agency in a statement said it received an emergency call via the control room at about 5:50 am that a truck accident occurred at Total Filling Station, Agege Motor Road, Mushin.
It read, “Consequent upon arrival at the scene of the incident, there was a multiple road accidents which involved two Dangote trucks and a commercial bus popularly known as (Vanagon).
“Further Investigation conducted revealed that the Dangote truck with the identification number, ICT 7B-046 rammed into the commercial bus with registration number JJJ 835 XD and crashed into another Dangote truck KMC 282 XC.
“Fortunately, there was no record of loss of lives but the driver of the Commercial bus, one female passenger and an old woman who was standing at the bus stop sustained various degrees of injuries.
“However, the Agency’s Paramedics swung into action by administering pre-hospital treatment to the victims, thereafter, they were taken to Gbagada General Hospital for further treatment.
“The commercial bus was recovered with the Agency’s heavy-duty Super-Metro while the two trucks were driven to Olosan Police Station.”
