Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has opened up about suffering another pregnancy loss, revealing that she was four months pregnant when the pregnancy ended.

According to The Sun, Abraham made the disclosure while speaking at the Bestie Jesu Concert 2026 in Lagos, where she recalled continuing to work on a film despite the difficult experience.

“I was four month pregnant, but I lost it. But guess what, I was filming, so I was down,” she said.

Toyin Abraham recounts hospital ordeal

The actress said she initially struggled with telling her parents because she was worried about how her mother would receive the news.

Abraham said her husband, actor Kola Ajeyemi, was far away at the time, prompting her to reach out to Pastor Bolaji Idowu for support.

She said Idowu prayed with her and asked about her condition as she travelled to the hospital.

Abraham told him doctors were preparing to carry out an evacuation following the pregnancy loss.

She said the pastor subsequently sent her millions of naira to assist with the medical expenses.

“Thank you so much, Pastor Bolaji. God bless you,” she said.

Actress previously suffered pregnancy loss

Abraham had previously disclosed in 2022 that she had lost another pregnancy.

At the time, she said the experience was emotionally difficult because she hoped to have one or two more children.

The filmmaker has a son and a stepdaughter with Ajeyemi and has spoken publicly about her desire to expand her family.

Her latest disclosure highlights another personal challenge she faced while continuing her work in Nollywood.
