A surprising story about professional wrestler, Chris Jericho, has emerged after guitarist, Frank Sidoris, recounted an alleged incident in which the former WWE champion pursued and tackled an unauthorised visitor who entered his band’s tour bus.
Sidoris shared the account during a recent appearance on The O Show, where he disclosed that although he was not part of the particular tour, he had heard details of the unusual encounter involving Jericho and the unidentified intruder.
According to the guitarist, the individual reportedly gained access to the tour bus without permission but quickly fled after entering. Rather than waiting for security personnel to intervene, Jericho allegedly took matters into his own hands and went after the fleeing individual.
Sidoris explained that Jericho eventually caught up with the man and brought him down with a powerful spear, a wrestling manoeuvre for which the veteran performer is widely recognised. The incident reportedly ended with the intruder being apprehended and removed from the premises.
He further indicated that Jericho’s intention was not to inflict serious injuries but to neutralise the situation by knocking the individual down and leaving him temporarily winded.
The guitarist also suggested that Jericho did not seek assistance from security during the confrontation, instead handling the situation himself. Those who reportedly witnessed the encounter were said to have appreciated how he dealt with the unexpected intrusion.
Although the account has attracted attention because of its unusual nature, the incident remains an unverified, secondhand story, as Sidoris acknowledged that he was not personally present when it allegedly happened.
The story has nevertheless added another intriguing tale to Jericho’s career, suggesting that his trademark wrestling moves may have come in handy outside the squared circle.
