We live in depressing times, need one another – Kate Henshaw
Fitness enthusiast and Nollywood veteran, Kate Henshaw, via her verified Twitter handle @HenshawKate has called on all Nigerians to look out for one another and talk to someone if need be.
In what she described as ‘depressing times,’ the dark-skinned mother of two tweeted, “Talk to someone if you have to. Take a break. We are in depressing times. Make person head no go blow like gasket for engine. (sic) We need each other at optimum to get through this. #KeepItOn.”
The movie star had also tweeted earlier, where she berated the government over the ban on Twitter in the country.
She said, “Majority are barely surviving, being killed with reckless abandon. Our children are kidnapped at will, but it’s Twitter that has helped expose these ills that is the problem?”
Recall that Twitter came up with the hashtag, #KeepItOn to support Nigerias’ Twitterati after the ban of the microblogging site by the Federal Government was announced on Friday by Nigeria’s Information Minister, Lai Mohammed.
The use of the micro-blogging app was not only banned but using it was a punishable offence as ordered by the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, SAN.
