Real Madrid may have to sell a number of players in their first-team squad to balance the books, after making some major summer signings.

Manager Zinedine Zidane will be looking to bring in Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic and Ferland Mendy, while Eder Militao and Rodrygo have already been confirmed.

Los Blancos will be looking to raise around £265million to bring in all five players this summer.

But that means showing some household names the exit door, it’s been claimed, including Gareth Bale, Isco and James Rodriguez.

Selling Bale, Isco and James could go a long way to helping Real to raise the funds needed for their summer upheaval.

According to Marca, Isco could be sold for £53million, and James for £62million.

Madrid are also hoping to generate around £62million for Gareth Bale, they’re also hoping to make £31million from any deal with Chelsea for Mateo Kovacic, as well as a similar amount for Lucas Vazquez.

Keylor Navas, Dani Ceballos, Mariano Diaz, Raul De Tomas, Borja Mayoral, and Theo Hernandez could also be shown the exit door.

The Express reports that offloading the 11 players could make enough money for Real to buy Hazard for up to £97million, Jovic for £62million, and Mendy for £35million.

The club is hoping for a record-breaking summer of sales, as it aims to rebuild after a largely disappointing season.

Captain Sergio Ramos has also been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu this summer.

Manchester United have been linked with the Spanish international, after 14 years at the club.

Elsewhere, Zidane’s son, Luca, could be picked up for a free this summer, after his contract comes to an end.

The goalkeeper is yet to sign a new deal, but Zidane wants his son to be the second choice behind Thibaut Courtois, it’s been reported.
