Stop persecuting Fani-Kayode, Nigerians tell President Buhari on social media
Nigerians have risen in support of Chief Olufemi Olukayode, one of the country’s politicians, over his purported harassment by the President Muhammadu Buhari.
Recently, Fani-Kayode’s wife and eight-year-old baby were detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over allegations that they may be involved in money laundering.
And there are reported plans to arrest the politician at the Federal High Court in Lagos on Friday, as EFCC seeks to continue its investigation against him.
But Nigerians have risen to fight the anti-graft agency, stating instead, that the fear of the man simply referred to as FFK is giving President Muhammadu Buhari sleepless nights.
Below are some tweets:
We call on all defenders of democracy in Nigeria to storm FHC Lagos tomorrow, DSS must be stopped from harassing @realFFK. #TheFearOfFFK
