Police has no right to check your phone – Dolapo Badmus(Video)
The Public Officer of the Nigerian Lagos state Police, Dolapo Badmos, said that no police officer has the right to go through your phone unless there’s a reasonable reason.
Dolapo Badmos made this revelation in a recent interview with LIB.
She was asked the difference between stop and search and checking people’s phone which is right and which is wrong.
She explained by stating that;
‘Your phone is private, it’s your private property because people do a lot of private stuffs on their mobile phones so it’s wrong. Police officers have no right to do that except there is a reasonable ground to do so’.
She described the mobile phone as a private property of an individual and has described such act by police officers as wrong.
