Passengers can now arrive airport 1 hour 30 minutes before flights – Sirika
The Federal Government has said passengers on a domestic flight can now arrive at the airport one hour thirty minutes before their flight.
Prior to the announcement, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) had advised passengers to arrive at the airport three hours before their flight.
The new development was disclosed in a tweet on Monday by the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika via his Twitter handle @hadisirika.
The Minister, however, advised travellers to check-in online.
The tweet reads:
“My colleagues & I have reviewed passenger facilitation at our airports; consequently I am happy to announce that, henceforth travelers are to arrive one hour and a half before their departure time for domestic flights. Travelers are advised to check in online, please.”
