WWE Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan, has revealed that one of the biggest things that bothers her in professional wrestling is an opponent pulling her hair during a match — even when the incident involves a highly decorated competitor.

Speaking during an appearance on “Happy Hour,” Morgan said she does not find her on-screen storyline with Dominik Mysterio off-putting, but admitted that having her hair pulled inside the ring is something that immediately frustrates her.

“Yeah, it actually just happened to me this past week. Charlotte Flair, like one of the most decorated women’s wrestlers of all time. Ric Flair’s daughter. I’m so much better than her. And I wrestled her to be in the finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament … I beat her and I’m tapping her out ’cause I’m just that f*g strong. She pulled my hair already in defeat ’cause she’s just salty and I hated it. I had the ick.”

Morgan defeated Flair to secure a place in the final of the Queen of the Ring tournament, but her run ended when she was beaten by IYO SKY at Night of Champions.

Following her victory, SKY earned more than just the Queen of the Ring crown — she also secured a championship opportunity at SummerSlam. The Japanese star immediately set her sights on Morgan’s Women’s World Championship, setting up a major title showdown.

A victory for SKY at SummerSlam would see her claim her third world championship on WWE’s main roster since joining the company’s main roster in 2022.

The upcoming match will also mark Morgan’s first defence of the Women’s World Championship. She has not yet put the title on the line since capturing the championship from Stephanie Vaquer at WrestleMania 42.
