WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Roman Reigns, continued his dominant run at Money in the Bank, successfully defending his title against LA Knight and reinforcing his position at the top of the company.

Following the victory, Reigns spoke with Cathy Kelley in a backstage interview, where he reflected on his latest championship defense and explained why he believes the title has become the most desirable prize in professional wrestling.

The Tribal Chief made it clear that he considers the championship’s current standing a result of his own influence. Reflecting on how the title was previously perceived, Reigns stated:

“Everybody wants this. Not too long ago, this was second prize; this was second fiddle, and now it’s the most coveted prize in the game. Because the Tribal Chief made it that way.”

Reigns’ comments underscored his belief that his accomplishments have elevated the championship’s prestige. The WWE veteran has built an impressive résumé over the years, establishing himself as a multi-time World Champion and a regular fixture in WrestleMania’s biggest matches.

His championship success continued at WrestleMania 42, where he defeated CM Punk to capture the gold. Since then, Reigns has continued to demonstrate his ability to perform on the grandest stages, adding another successful title defense to his record at Money in the Bank.

For Reigns, competing in high-profile main events and defending championship gold is simply part of his identity. The champion expressed confidence in his ability to thrive under pressure, making it clear that he views his position as something he was destined to occupy.

“This is the position, and this is what I was born for. Always ready.”

With another successful defense behind him, Reigns now faces the possibility of new challenges as rivalries continue to develop across WWE.

At Money in the Bank, 946 was also involved in a physical confrontation with The Usos and Solo Sikoa, potentially setting the stage for further developments involving Reigns and members of his wider wrestling circle.

Meanwhile, PENTA emerged as the new Mr. Money in the Bank, earning an opportunity that could significantly affect the championship picture in the coming weeks. With the briefcase in his possession, PENTA could become a major factor in Reigns’ title reign if he decides to pursue the World Heavyweight Championship.

As the champion moves forward, attention will turn to whether Reigns can maintain his grip on the gold amid the growing list of potential challengers. For now, his latest victory has given him another opportunity to reinforce his claim that the championship’s elevated status is a product of the Tribal Chief’s legacy.
