HE WAS HELD HOSTAGE FOR SIX HOURS! SARS forced man to pay N920, 000 to regain his freedom in Edo
A Nigerian man based in the US, Endy David, has said operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad collected N920, 000 from his friend after holding him hostage for six hours in Benin City, Edo State.
He said the incident happened on the Benin bye pass road when his friend was on his way to a traditional wedding ceremony.
David called on the Inspector General of Police to please use his good office to investigate the matter and bring the bad eggs in the unit to book.
However, it’s criminal actions like this that made the Chief Justice of Nigeria raise an alarm against the Nigeria Police.
