The Sokoto Sector Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps, Mr. Kaugama Kabo, has confirmed the death of two persons in a road crash involving seven vehicles.
Kabo disclosed on Saturday that the accident occurred in the early hours of Saturday at Sifawa village in Bodinga local government.
He said the accident involved a moving vehicle which lost control and touched seven other vehicles, including two trucks.
Kabi said the accident led to the death of two persons while eight others sustained various degrees of injuries.
He added that the deceased along with the injured persons were taken to Bodinga general hospital.
The Sector Commander cautioned drivers against speeding, dangerous driving and other sharp practices that endangered peoples’ lives and destruction of property.
