JUST IN: Chief Imam of Egbaland is dead
The President-General, League of Imams Alfas in Ogun state and Chief Imam of Egbaland, Sheikh Liadi Orunsolu has died.
The Islamic leader died at the age of 98.
Orunsolu died in his house located at Grammar school, Abeokuta on Tuesday morning.
It was gathered that the late chief Imam had been suffering from an old age sickness before the commencement of Ramadan.
The deceased would be buried according to Islamic rites by 4 pm on Tuesday.
