Super Falcons, Oshoala add to Nigeria’s wins at #GloCAFAwards2016, check out their wins
Nigeria’s senior female national team, Super Falcons, have been named the women’s national team of the year while Asisat Oshoala picked up the award of the continent’s finest female player.
These awards add to already buoyant wins for Super Eagles’s pair of Kelechi Iheanacho and Alex Iwobi in the youth categories.
Arsenal ladies’s Oshoala was one of Nigeria’s shining stars at the 2016 African Women Championship where the Falcons secured an eighth continental triumph, as she won the golden boot at the tournament.
Fellow Nigerians have also taken to the social media to react to the win of the female team and their star player.
