WE NEED SOME CLARIFICATIONS? Mixed reactions trail Buhari’s WAEC certificate
The West African Examination Council on Friday issued an attestation and confirmation of result to President Muhammadu Buhari ahead of the 2019 elections.
This has led to arguments as well as applauds on social media platforms as Nigerians expressed divergent views over the latest development.
The arguments further escalated after Buhari’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, asked his principal’s opponents if they had anything to say next?
Adesina also shared photos of Buhari receiving his WAEC certificate as proof that he had his WAEC results.
This has, however, led to several backlashes from some anti-Buhari supporters who felt insulted by Adesina’s post.

Some questioned why he is just collecting his certificate from WAEC after he had presented a sworn affidavit to the Electoral Commission claiming that his certificate was with the military.
Some Twitter users noted that the passport used in the certificate showed a recent Buhari.
Meanwhile, some pro-Buhari supporters mocked their “haters” adding that he president will always be a step ahead of his doomsayers.
Recall that Buhari’s school result has been a subject of controversy lately after he submitted his nomination forms to the Independent National Electoral Commission without a copy of his certificate.

I think GMB didn’t take #Buharicertificate serious in 2015. But PMB is trying to keep a clean sheet before the campaigns officially kick start for 2019.

This is not the result of 1962. He clearly said “attestation and confirmation” of result. It was just issued in a current format hence his recent passport photo.
