One of the BBNaija housemates, Maria, who had had a perceived attachment to fellow housemate Pere told him on Monday she had been faking likeness for him.

She added that whatever emotions he was getting from her all this while were faked.

This comes after Liquorose after the ‘Truth or Dare game’ told Pere that Maria was blushing when housemates asked her about him.

”Maria likes the attention you are giving her,” she said.

An overly excited Pere then immediately left his bed to Maria’s, telling the latter he would like to speak with her.

Taking her to a corner in the house, Pere declared his undying intention for her.

“I just want you to know I like you. I really do,” he said.

But his declarations were met with the most painful responses from Maria as she unapologetically told him she didn’t like him and had been faking it all the while.

“I don’t like you, so can I go back to bed now?

“I really don’t like you, I swear, I was faking it. Can I go to bed now, please,” Maria said.

The expression on Pere’s face showed her words hit him hard as he recently said she is the only girl he would like to continue with after the show.
