Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has won the Serie A Player of the Month for September.

Despite starting the season with a red card, Osimhen netted seven goals in six appearances for Luciano Spalletti’s men in all competitions.

The 22-year-old contributed four goals in Serie A to help his side maintain their perfect start to the season.

Osimhen was instrumental for Napoli in the 2-2 draw against Premier League side, Leicester City, scoring both goals as Spaletti’s men came from two goals down to steal a point at the King Power Stadium.

He opened his account in the league on September 20th, scoring once in the 4-0 victory against Udinese before following up with a brace three days later against Sampdoria.

Osimhen scored another goal in the 2-0 victory over Cagliari on the 26th before another in the 3-2 defeat to Spartak Moscow in the Europa League.
