Ghanaian actress and fashion personality Nana Akua Addo has broken her silence after videos linked to an alleged domestic dispute involving her and her children circulated widely on social media. Interestingly, Nana Akua Addo viral videos have captured social media attention recently.

According to a statement shared on Nana Akua Addo’s Instagram page by her lawyers, Nkrabeah & Associates, the videos were leaked without her knowledge. Furthermore, they were shared without her consent as seen in the Nana Akua Addo viral videos circulating online.

Her legal team described the circulation of the footage as a serious violation of the privacy of Addo and her children.

Lawyers demand videos be taken down

In the statement dated October 6, the lawyers appealed to media organisations and members of the public. They asked them to stop publishing and sharing the videos, particularly those involving her minor children. Clearly, the Nana Akua Addo viral videos have raised considerable concern among her supporters and the public.

They said the matter involved young children and urged the public to show restraint to protect their mental wellbeing.

The legal team added that the family was already dealing with trauma arising from the incident.

Matter before authorities

The lawyers also disclosed that the matter is currently sub judice and in the hands of the appropriate authorities. In addition, discussions about Nana Akua Addo viral videos are ongoing in many media circles.

They expressed appreciation to the Ghana Police Service for what they described as its timely intervention and responsiveness.

The statement said Addo remained confident in the competence of the courts to address the matter.

They appealed to the media and the public to respect the privacy of the family as they deal with the situation.
