Anambra govt marks Prophet Odumeje’s church for demolition
The Anambra State government has reportedly marked the church of controversial prophet, Chukwuemeka Ohanemere, popularly known as Odumeje, for demolition.
The Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Deliverance Ministry World Miracle Center, also known as Land of Freedom, is located at 88B Bida Road, Fegge, Onitsha.
Sources said that the government marked the church structure as an illegal structure, and ordered for it to be demolished.
It is reported that the structure is sitting on a huge canal, which renders it an illegal building in line with Soludo’s plan to demolish over 200 buildings in Onitsha blocking the drainage linking the River Niger.
The ‘liquid metal’, known for his unconventional style of preaching, is a popular cleric based in the Anambra commercial capital, Awka.
It is, however, left to be seen if the demolition order would be executed or not.
