JUST IN: Real Madrid’s Zinedine Zidane is COVID-19 positive

Real Madrid have confirmed on Friday that head coach, Zinedine Zidane, has tested positive for the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Frenchman will now miss Madrid’s away match against Alaves in La Liga on Saturday as they chase runaway league leaders, Atletico Madrid who are seven points ahead of Madrid.
“Our coach Zinedine Zidane has tested positive for COVID-19” the club announced on its official website.
Recall that Zidane’s men suffered a shocking 2-1 defeat to Alcoyano in midweek as they crash out of the Copa del Rey in the Round of 32.
