Boko Haram release images of captured soldiers, two other abducted civilians
Less than 72-hours after the abduction, insurgents from the camp of Boko Haram terrorists have released photographs of the two soldiers kidnapped in Borno State.
WuzupNigeria reported that the abduction took place along the Maiduguri-Damaturu highway in Goni Masari area of the state on Saturday as the soldiers were ambushed by the bandits while travelling to Kano in a commercial vehicle.
According to Nation on Tuesday, the insurgents displayed the identity cards of all their abductees in their custody; two of the cards belong to Mai Lalle, one for Mustapha while the other belongs to Lpcl Oyediran Adedotun of the Nigeria Army.
A fourth abductee’s identity could not be ascertained as the ID card was not sighted from the list of the cards provided by the insurgents.
Reports further revealed that Mai Lalle and Mustapha were travelling to Maiduguri when they were abducted while the two Army personnel, on the other hand, were only with pass permits before their ambush and eventual capture.
