James Brown publicly disowns sister after alleged assault
Nigerian crossdresser, James Brown, has taken to Instagram to publicly disown his sister, Gracious Brown, following allegations that she supported their house neighbor and his wife in assaulting him.
In a statement posted on his Instagram page, James claimed that Gracious had sided with their neighbor and his wife, who allegedly attacked him during a dinner party for his goddaughter, which Gracious had personally invited them to.
James vowed to share more details about the incident later, stating: “I said I have disown Gracious Brown because she support our house neighbor to hurt me, who has been persistence on becoming my friend or should I say enemy in disguise in other to scam me, more info on that. The neighbor & his girlfriend attacked me when I was in the dinner party of my God daughter apparently Gracious invited them personally. The first writeup was a typo graphical error because of anger. More information coming.”
This comes after James Brown shared a video showing the aftermath of the alleged assault, expressing his dismay that his sister had supported the perpetrators.

In a previous post, James had expressed frustration over his name being dragged into conversations not directly involving him. He requested that people refrain from discussing him or his personality, emphasizing that he aims only to entertain his fans and provide an escape from sorrow and frustration.
Earlier in March, James had announced a break from social media, citing concerns about his mental health.
He later revealed that he had sought deliverance in his village after experiencing spiritual attacks, especially after his birthdays. He shared that his father advised him to seek prayers at home, as he often saw visions of his rival, Bobrisky, and other drag queens in his dreams.
