Emelah equally directed the management of schools to ensure total adherence to the COVID-19 safety guidelines.

According to him, the state government was concerned about the life of every pupil and would not condone flouting of the COVID-19 protocols.

Meanwhile, in Ebonyi, the state government has postponed school resumption earlier scheduled for Monday 4th January 2021, to 18th of the same month.
