The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), on Monday met with the new Chief of Army Staff, Major General Farouk Yahaya, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Yahaya met the President alongside the Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor; and the Minister of Defence, Major General Bashir Magashi.
Although details of the closed-door meeting are not yet known to the public, it is no doubt connected to the spate of insecurity ravaging the nation in recent months.
