Enyimba captain, Ojo Olorunleke, has expressed confidence in his team’s ability to defeat Wydad Athletic Club in Casablanca in the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final clash on Thursday night.
The team lost the first leg 1-0 in Uyo last weekend, but Olorunleke believes they can overturn the deficit and book a place in the semi-finals.
“We came here to achieve victory. We are ready and confident, we have spoken together,” Olorunleke told a pre-match press conference on Wednesday night.
“We faced some difficulties and challenges before coming here, but we are a professional team and we can’t complain.
“We are here to win and qualify. We want to defeat Wydad like they did in the first leg.”
The People’s Elephant will need to score two goals without conceding in order to advance, but Olorunleke is confident that they can achieve the task.
