Bayern Munich win eighth successive Bundesliga, Paderborn relegated
Jamilu Collins’ Paderborn was relegated to Bundesliga 2 on Tuesday following a 1-0 defeat against Union Berlin at the Stadion An der Alten Forsterei.
Ben Zolinski put the ball into his own net in the 27th minute condemning the visitors to another agonizing defeat.
Collins featured for 90 minutes in the game. He has played 28 league games and scored once for Paderborn this season.
Anthony Ujah was introduced in the 88th minute by Mainz in the game.
At the wohninvest WESERSTADIO, Robert Lewandowski scored the decisive goal as Bayern Munich won their eighth consecutive title following a 1-0 win against Werder Bremen.
Lewandoswki struck two minutes before the break after he was set up Jerome Boateng.
Bayern finished the game with 10-men after Alphonse Davies was sent off 11 minutes from time.
