Video: Two men torture children over alleged theft, brutally smack one on the ground
A heartbreaking video of some men brutalising two children over alleged theft in a yet-to-be-identified community is presently making the round on social media.
Popular activist Harrison Gwamnishu shared the video on his Facebook page and has since gone viral.
He said he got tagged to the video on Facebook and alerted police officers to the incident.
In the footage, the men could be heard screaming at the children and accusing them of stealing.
Some women could be seen seated comfortably at the scene where the children were being brutally beaten without intervening.
Gwamnishu wrote:
“Got tagged on Facebook and I quickly called BBI intelligence team to work on the background and get the exact location. The two victims track in Agidiese Quarters, Ogwashi Uku, Delta State.
“In collaboration with Anti Cult Ogwashi, we track one of the perpetrators, arrested and detained.
“Abuse and neglect hit kids hard and abused indigent children are in no shape to defend themselves. Behind Bars Human Right Foundation and other passionate Nigerians are always available to stand in the gap and represent their interest.
“There is no justification for this act”
He, however, revealed that one of the men seen in the viral video brutalising the children has been arrested.
