We have different callings, face yours, Ghana Jesus comedy series actor warns Pastors
Apparently tired from the bashings and name-calling he has received from self-styled ‘men of God’ since starting his Ghana Jesus comedy series, actor Justice Hymns, aka Mmebusem, has advised the clerics to face their calling.
WuzupNigeria reports that the Kumawood actor, in an interview with Amansan Krakye of Cape Coast-based radio Central fame, advised gospel musicians, Pastors and those offended by his choice of comedy to concentrate on winning souls instead of judging him.
Describing his comedy as educative, Mmebusem said;
“Those pastors should concentrate on winning souls for Christ because that is their ultimate calling and task in the ministry. Their calling is not to bash me!
“I am promoting Jesus’ works via comedy so I don’t get these pastors”.
WuzupNigeria reports that in November, a Ghanaian actor, Kobby One, slammed Mmebusem over his skits, saying he was mocking Jesus.
In an interview with Zionfelix uncut, the actor expressed his displeasure at Mmebusem for combining the sacred word of God with comedy.
He cautioned Mmebusem to stop mocking Jesus because He is sacred and the word of God cannot be misquoted.
