4 strong reasons you must stop going to church

Published

These days the news we hear from churches are vital enough to ensure that a person stops going to church and if care is not taken, such a person might even stop believing that a God exists.

For many who tend to have stopped going to church for a while, below are 5 major reasons they started to stay away from the gathering of the brethren.

1 – Prosperity sermons only

Some people have said that one of the greatest reasons why they would stop going to church is the fact that many pastors these days are only concerned with preaching what the people want to hear.

They claim that pastors of these days keep speaking of only prosperity and they are not teaching the people how to live upright and in peace with their neighbors.

2 – Fake miracles

There are many fake miracles being performed these days, and as the bible had hinted many people are driven by what they see, eventually they end up being deceived.

Some people claim that the fact that miracles in churches these days, cannot be trusted, they would rather stay home and worship their God, rather than go where they would be fooled.

3 – Abominations committed

Judgement they say shall begin in the house of God, this is because, the sins committed in churches these days is even more than what is in the world.

When you hear of pastors doing rituals with humans, or a clergy man sleeping with a members wife, one is tempted to just stay home and hope you can find God from your room.

4 – Too much tithes and offerings

If money is not an issue, then nothing really is, so the saying goes. One of the greatest reasons people stop going to church is the fact that many churches do not care how you fend for ur daily bread, for all they care, just pay your tithes and offerings, and you will be right with the pastor and God.

There are no deliberate attempts in many churches, to see to the needs of the common people, the preachers have become some kind of tax collectors and the members have to pay through their noses.

If sermons are tailored properly that they become more balanced, if genuine miracles can be verified beyond what the eyes can see, if men of God stick to the principles of the bible and shun vices, then many would not have a problem paying their tithes and offerings for the furtherance of Gods work.
