Less than two hours rainfall causes major flooding in Lagos, SEE photos and video

A less than two hours rain that fell in major areas in Lagos today, November 28, 2016, has caused major flooding on Ojota link Maryland bridge, popularly called ‘Odo Iya Alaro.

According to commuters and motorists plying the federal road, there is currently serious vehicular traffic at Ojota inward Maryland due to the major flooding on the Odo Iya Alaro bridge.

As a result, motorists and commuters are advised to find alternative routes as huge rain water is said to be flowing on the bridge.

We gathered that the traffic gridlockhas extended to the Gbagada enroute Oshodi/Anthony village link road.

Major flooding was also experienced in Ikeja area after less than an hour rainfal.
