VIDEOS: Actress Eucharia Anunobi bags doctorate degree

Veteran Nollywood actress, Eucharia Anunobi, on Monday announced that she had bagged a doctorate degree from an undisclosed university.

A doctorate or doctoral degree is an academic qualification awarded by universities, derived from the ancient formalism licentia docendi.

In most countries, such degree qualifies the holder to teach at university level in the degree’s field or work in a specific profession.

A filmmaker named Maureen Solomon Okereke shared the news of the Anunobi’s academic feat on her Instagram page on Monday.

In one of the videos, Eucharia donned a black outfit as she gave her defense speech before a large audience.

In another video, she was seen being decorated with academic regalia as the chairman of the ceremony addressed her.

Maureen captioned one of the posts,

“@euchariaanunobi giving her defense Congratulations bigsis on your conferment of a PhD degree . More grace and showers of blessings on your ministry. God be with you always. More and more and more in JESUS Mighty Name Amen

Meanwhile, Eucharia is yet to announce the news on her official Instagram page.

She, however, acknowledged and thanked Maureen for her congratulatory post.
