Trump solidarity rally in Port Harcourt turns bloody as security men allegedly killed 11 Biafrans

No fewer than 11 Pro-Biafrans celebrating the the inauguration of US president-elect Donald Trump have been reportedly killed in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.

According to reports posted on social media, security men shot live bullets on the Biafrans as they engaged in peaceful ‘Trump Solidarity Rally’ in Port Harcourt.

According to the media and publicity ‎secretary of IPOB, Emma Powerful, no fewer than 11 members of the pro-Biafra group have been shot dead by security operatives.

“They have attacked our people; 11 have been confirmed dead, many others have bullet wounds,” Powerful said.

He claimed that the attack was carried out by the police, the army and the Department of State Services.

IPOB members were said to have been attacked in Okporo around Artillery axis of Port Harcourt, as they planned to march towards Mile One through Aba Road in the Rivers State capital.
A security source, who confirmed the incident, explained that some of the advancing members of IPOB, who were carrying and waving Biafra, American and Russian flags refused to stop when they were asked to do so.
The incident, which occurred at about 10.20am forced shop owners to close their businesses for the day.

A Twitter user, Anioke Collins, tweeted that protesters were been shot by police officers at Igwuocha area of the state.
