American pop star Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce are enjoying their first weeks as spouse’s after tying the knot in a lavish New York ceremony.
According to PEOPLE, a source close to the couple said the newlyweds are excited about the next phase of their relationship. Furthermore, they remain thankful for the life they have built together.
“They’re both just so excited that they’re spouse’s now,” the source said. “Their relationship feels even more special.”
Swift and Kelce, both 36, married on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. This was nearly a year after announcing their engagement in August 2025.
The private ceremony reportedly drew about 1,000 guests. Among them were several Hollywood stars such as Julia Roberts, Tom Hanks, Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern, Emma Stone and Brad Pitt.
Swift, Kelce return to busy schedules
Despite their marriage, the couple have quickly returned to demanding careers. Kelce is preparing for another NFL season and Swift is continuing to work on music and other professional commitments.
“They’re both always working, creating or thinking about what comes next. And they love living like this,” the source said.
“They both feel really grateful for everything they have. They’re very happy.”
Kelce recently spoke publicly about the wedding, describing the celebration as one of the most memorable moments of his life.
“Wedding was the best night of my life, and I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us,” he told reporters.
He described the ceremony as “a wild night” filled with celebration before turning his attention back to football.
