Security operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested two suspects in connection with a young man who attempted to rape a lady while in possession of a pistol.

WuzupNigeria reported that Peter Arinola was arrested by security operatives at the Empire Area in the Surelere area of Lagos State on Valentine’s day, February 14 2020.

Arinola who was caught with five rounds of ammunition during the course of the police investigation was said to be a gun handler for an armed robber who was at large.

As a result, the Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu ordered that the suspect be apprehended and brought to justice.

However, in an update on Monday, the police revealed that it has apprehended two suspects, Shonibare and Ayonuga in connection with Arinola.

“Police have arrested 2 suspects, Sheriff Shonibare (Stainless) & Quadri Ayonuga (Sugar) as investigation continues in the case of Peter Arinola(Blood)who was arrested with an English pistol at Empire area of Surulere while he was threatening and harassing a lady for sex,” the statement read.
