The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Yakubu Dogara, on Wednesday, played host to a delegation from the Parliament of Ghana at the lower chamber of the National Assembly in Abuja.
This was made known on the Twitter handle of Rt Hon Yakubu Dogara @SpeakerDogara with the caption: I just received a delegation from the Parliament of Ghana, led by Hon. Alfred Agbesi, the Deputy Majority Leader.
The delegation which was led by the Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Alfred Agbesi were in a closed door meeting for several hours with Speaker Dogara.
The outcome of the meeting has not been made public yet but it is believed that the lawmakers would have discussed among other crucial issues, how to strengthen synergy between both countries.
