It was an atmosphere filled with uncontrolled emotions as Nigerian music icon, Olanrewaju Fasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan, was laid to rest on Sunday.

WuzupNigeria reported that Sound Sultan passed away at the age of 44 on Sunday after battling Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma (throat cancer).

Sultan’s widow, Farida Fasasi, who was utterly distraught, was at the burial ceremony held in New Jersey, United States.
