The brother of Sound Sultan, Babe Dee, has revealed in an interview with Teju Babyface on the King of Talks Podcast that his brother died in the best hospitals having received the best treatment for cancer.

Speaking on the show, he said “ it was always God,when he was sick we didn’t go asking anybody for anything. Everything took care of itself. He died in one of the best hospitals for the best hospitals for the kind of disease he was facing at the time. It doesn’t get better than that.”

Sound Sultan passed away on Sunday ,July 11 2021,at the age of 44 after battling with throat cancer.

He expressed his gratitude on how people have been supportive since their brother died and how they had memorialized him.

Baba Dee talked about how they launched a posthumous album and held a luncheon for the album in New York and how people have started doing Sound Sultan remembrances every year.

He further said that no one is getting out of here alive and after all is said and done, we all become a memory.
