An unidentified man was caught attempting to rape a six-year-old girl in an uncompleted building at Kasoleri area, close to Agbala Itura, Ikorodu in Lagos state.

The Ikorodu Ambassadors Group posted pictures of the man and the uncompleted building where the rape attempt took place on their Facebook wall.

The man who is a former neighbour was said to have visited the family. However, while friends and family members were distracted, he lured the six-year-old girl into an uncompleted building in the vicinity and attempted to rape her but was caught by a passerby.
