PHOTOS: Osinbajo pays condolence visit to Alaafin’s family
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Friday paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, in Oyo, the state capital of Ibadan.
WuzupNigeria reported that the late Alaafin passed away in the late hours of Friday, April 22, at the age of 83.
Oba Adeyemi died at the Afe Babalola University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti, and was committed to mother earth on Saturday according to Islamic rites.
The late Yoruba monarch ruled for 52 years before his demise, making him the longest-reigning Alaafin.
Osinbajo, dressed in white Agbada and black Fila, was pictured addressing the family, including some of the wives of the late Alaafin,
