PHOTOS! Mammoth crowd welcomes President Buhari in Bauchi
President Muhammadu Buhari was on Thursday welcomed by a mammoth crowd in Bauchi State.
This was made known few minutes ago on the Twitter handle of the Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmad.
President Buhari arrived the state this morning and was received by Governor Muhammed Abubakar, at the Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport.
He said thousands of All Progressives Congress supporters trooped out to welcome President Buhari to the state.
Ahmaad also stated that Bauchi has been one of Buhari’s stronghold since he joined politics.
President Buhari during a meeting with some stakeholders in the state said education is the greatest cure for the country’s security and numerous problems.
Buhari is on a two-day working visit to the state and during the visit, he is expected to commission some projects including the NAF Base Hospital Complex.
He told the Fulani ethnic stock to embrace education as a way to drive their youth away from violence and criminality.
Buhari thanked God for the opportunity of the education he got and asked Fulani youths to copy his example.
