Former President Muhammadu Buhari and his successor President Bola Ahmed Tinubu are poised to make their first joint public appearance since the 2023 handover, marking a significant moment at the launch of the book “Working with Buhari” by Femi Adesina, Buhari’s former Special Adviser on Media and Publicity.

Scheduled for Tuesday, January 16th, at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja, the event is anticipated to be historic, with Tinubu serving as the special guest of honor, according to Planning Committee Chairman Malam Garba Deen Muhammad.

Distinguished figures, including former Head of State General Yakubu Gowon and co-Chairman General I.B.M Haruna, are expected to grace the occasion.

Additionally, a royal delegation from Saudi Arabia, led by Prince Abdulaziz Bin Faisal Al Saud, has confirmed attendance, and Alhaji Mohammed Indimi is set to be the chief launcher.

In a statement released in Abuja, the Committee emphasized the uniqueness of the book, stating, “The book will provide insight unlikely to be found anywhere else; because Femi will be telling his story from a morally strong position.” It further highlighted Femi Adesina’s unwavering loyalty to former President Buhari, portraying the memoir as a study in loyalty.

Published by Safari Books, the book encapsulates Adesina’s eight years in office as Buhari’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, offering readers a firsthand account of his experiences within the government.
