Late Funke Olakunrin, daughter of Chairman of Pan Yoruba socio-political group Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, will be buried today, July 22, 2019.

The deceased will be buried after a funeral service at Saint David’s Anglican Cathedral Church, Ijomu, Akure, The Nation reports.

WuzupNaija reports that she was killed by suspected gunmen at Kajola village on Benin/Ore road in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State.

WuzupNija reports that a night of tribute was held in honour of late Olakunrin, the at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos on Friday.

In attendance were prominent persons like the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, Pius Akinyelure, Ondo deputy governor Agboola Ajayi, Chief Olu Adebanjo and Femi Fani Kayode amonsgt others.

Mrs. Olakunri, 58, is survived by an aged father, Pa Fasoranti, and her widower Idowu Olakunri, children and siblings.
