Osun Lotto operator sets self on fire to avoid paying debts
An operator of a betting outlet, simply identified as Seyi, has reportedly committed suicide in Osun State.
Seyi was said to have set himself ablaze to avoid offseting debt.
The deceased, who was a resident in Ikire, Osun State, locked himself up in his betting kiosk at Ikire before taking his life.
WuzupNigeria gathered that before residents raised alarm when they discovered the deceased.
An eyewitness said that it was the smoke coming out of the kiosk that alerted people, who confessed that they did not know Seyi was in the shop, The PUNCH reports.
