Osun begins PPE distribution in schools
Osun State Government has begun distribution of COVID-19 protective materials to Junior Secondary Schools in preparation for the full resumption of students.
A statement by the Chairman, State Universal Education Board, Ajibola Famurewa on Monday, stated that materials to be distributed to principals includes water basins, liquid soaps, infrared thermometers, and sanitisers.
He said the gesture is to ensure qualitative education and healthy living.
Famurewa said the materials distributed will serve as a preventive kit for ensuring that COVID-19 has no breathing space in Osun schools.
SUBEB’s Secretary, Adeoye Bakare explained that the festering COVID-19 is a matter of serious concern, hence the pro-activeness of Governor Oyetola administration in taming.
