The mother of the immediate past Governor of Ondo State, Dr Olusegun Mimiko, is dead.
Madam Muinat Mimiko died in Ondo town at the age of 88.
Mimiko’s media aide Johnpaul Akinduro confirmed this in a tweet via his Twitter handle @akinduro.
He tweeted:
“88yr-old mother of former Governor of Ondo state, @Segunmimiko, Mama Muinat Mosekola Mimiko fondly called “Iye Ruka” has gone to rest. We will miss her dearly.”
