Nigerian hip-hop artist, Olamide Adedeji aka Badoo has dropped teasers for his controversial song,’Science Student.’

The teasers show dance groups dancing the trendy #shaku shaku.

Recall that Olamide had defended #ScienceStudent following criticisms that he promoted drug abuse in the song.

According to him contrary to some people’s perception, the song was advocating that the youth should stop mixing chemical in a bid to get high.

“Don’t abuse alcohol. stop mixing what you don’t know about. Live responsibly and drink responsibly. Don’t aspire the ‘highness state’ but a state of purpose fulfilment and passion discovery.”

The 26-year-old went further to dissaciate himself from a viral video of youths promoting high usage of drugs.

“I saw a video online of #ScienceStudent promoting drugs, the song is nothing close to that.

“I just wanted to create something groovy but at the same time with a message for the youth to understand and not the harsh with it, I just added a little bit of comic to it.

“I know that some older generations are having issues with the song, it’s like when some of our parents were not comfortable discussing sex education with us while growing up.

“There is a part of the lyric that says, are you guys in competition with Sango (the Yoruba deity of thunder), why is there so much smoke, am begging with the name of God, please calm down.’
