Nollywood stars react as popular OAP Lolo 1, kids survive car accident



A famous On-Air-Personality and comic actress, Omotunde Adebowale David popularly known as Lolo 1, announced that her children narrowly survived a road mishap on Tuesday.

While appreciating God for His Mercy, the mother-of-four disclosed on her Instagram page that the kids were on their way to school when the accident occurred.

She was, however, quick to add that they only had “scrapes and bruises.”

The dark-skinned actress who is also known as ‘Adaku’ in the television soap – Jenifa’s Dairy – bemoaned that she has never experienced such a serious road accident in her life.

She added that the unfortunate incident has left her in fear after her children came out of the vehicle unhurt.

Lolo 1 posted the picture of the disfigured car on her social media account with the following caption;

“I have never really been in a serious accident in my life so you can imagine how badly shaken I was yesterday when my treasures came out with scrapes and bruises i was just grateful
“But im thankful for the joy of God’s preservation….when you go out and come back home safe please thank God specially
“Nothing broken
“Nothing missing
“Thank you Jesus”

The lead cast in Jenifa’s Diary, Funke Akindele wrote was one of the first to react, “All glory to God. Our children will love long in good health.”

Her comment was followed by that of stand-up comedienne, real warri pikin who wrote, “Dear God, Thank you! Congratulations ma…”

A worried fan, Olive Emodi, who marveled at how they came out of the wreck exclaimed, “Wow!!! Thank you Jesus.”

Sadiq Yetunde, on her part, wrote: “Thank you Jesus for preserving and protecting the life of this great ones. Congratulations sis.”

Singer Benita Okojie also expressed gratitude to God on her behalf. “Thank God for His protection. Thank you Jesus lots of hugs and so grateful for this testimony.”
